Have you ever felt that writing was a bit of a chore? I know I sure do. Honestly, a Netflix binge can be preferable some days (House of Cards for the second time, anyone?). But in effort to keep the writing spark alive, I believe this will be a useful tool for myself and my fellow writer friends as well. write notions exists to provide resource, inspiration, and tips to becoming the writer you want to be. So to give you a little context: I recently graduated with my Master's in professional writing (web content development concentration). There, I learned invaluable skill and resource, but I know that 2 years of study only scraped the surface of the expanding and relatively new field of professional writing, especially with expanse of social media. Now, the internet is consuming everyone's lives. The demand for content is growing, with no sign of stopping. As writers, our job prospects have never been more secure and so transparent.
But even with the writing market growth today, I have always been drawn to writing in its own right. This love really began with my first creative writing class in high school, and has continued to drive my career today. The act of writing has held a constant presence, and continues to grow.

It’s that notion of creativity that would like to keep alive through the evolution of this blog:
The possibilities are endless. I hope to share my findings and inspirations to help you, my fellow writers. Let's help each other continue the fine tradition of writing through the new mediums and platforms of today.

- What can we do with it?
- How can we keep it going?
- How can we think like writers?
- How can we make a career out of this?
